Farmer shoots robbers: one dead
Episode in the countryside of Foggia
A farmer of 40 years, killed a foreign national with an accomplice who was scoring a robbery in his farm. The murder occurred in the countryside in the province of Foggia. According to the police reconstruction of the farmer has heard the noise and came out with a 12 gauge shotgun firing several shots, one of the bullets killed the stranger who was fleeing with an accomplice in a car.
The victim, who is deemed a citizen of Eastern Europe, along with an accomplice managed to escape and entered the estate of a farmer in the district Lagavitella, probably to make the theft of agricultural equipment.
